I love tech, travel, and helping others accomplish their goals. Thoughts here are my own and don't necessarily reflect that of the brand.
Am I the only one that thinks fact checking with search and complimentary AI creative would be nice to have across platforms at this point? People respond best to images, videos and emojis 😂 Grammarly, citations via fact checking, and general rich media creation just seems like common sense now.

Is California losing its ground as the place to do business in the U.S.? If it’s not California then where are things shifting to? It sounds like Texas but not entirely sure.
In the 1930s, German and Italian scientists of principle fled to the US and became the backbone of our scientific and technical advantage, creating massive US wealth. Those who benefited most from their work are now… fleeing to chase lower tax rates. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/09/t...

I think what’s missing here that @profgalloway.com doesn’t address is that to extract rare earth minerals in Greenland you can’t do so without much needed uranium. This is something in contest in Europe. The world needs this and Denmark needs to relax on it asap so Greenland can produce.

Apparently Russians are using Starlink by getting it illegally into the country. One would think it would be easy to discern where it is and disable by MAC address. militarnyi.com/en/news/russ...

@ianlurie.bsky.social noted this and other industry folks have been adamant of it. What’s old is new. Social bookmarking PR bonanza 😆
We've done some tests on recency bias but not like this, love this post and how they're testing and theorizing on updating posts and how different models bias one way or the other, also loved the small updates to test.
I Found It in the Code, Science Proved It in the Lab: The Recency Bias That's Reshaping AI Search - metehan.ai
In August 2025, I found something on ChatGPT's configuration files and identified a single line of code that explained many things:

If Google wants to eliminate webspam from PBNs consider robots.txt blocking Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush crawlers. Then deep scan outbound link ratios to content consistency. Discount domain types a further consideration. Drop accordingly, with low processing. Web interactions take too long.

There is so much loaded in this from today’s buying culture on down to memory costs surging for infrastructure they can’t use.

This may come as a shock but if your content sucks it’s probably not overly helpful making the site load in 0.4 seconds otherwise we’d all just load text files.

Does anyone else find Gemini’s persistence to hold onto ideas frustrating? You ask it about different things and it hangs on the original thought in working memory while not evolving at all. It’s like a drunk at a wedding right or that unhelpful clerk at the store that blathers without clarity.

Accounts seem to be trolling Google on X to get a response. In both cases they say nothing. I assume it’s auto responses or something shooting into a feeder for social media DM aggregation.

Dear Googlers please fix share link length for Google SERPs because IOS representative of 58% of mobile devices in English speaking countries breaks up SMS/ iMessage. Unsure about Android but this needs to be patched ASAP.

Sustainable business mean doing practical things with sometimes impractical solutions but with a clear outcome in mind. I’m not sure some of these companies have overly defined profitable goal which is concerning.

Amateur marketing agencies can easily detected by their push to blog in the local space. Signal to noise ratio is the key to success in every business. The focus should be on services and solutions clients need. If it doesn’t move the bottom line it’s a distraction from success.

We’re all just hoping W3C comes up with a protocol for all notifications so Google Chrome, Microsoft and Apple can patch this bad user experience at the browser.

Set browser to notify only on specific cookie types and ignore popup otherwise! No more social vampires
