From provinces to the World Cup: How women's cricket has brought Indonesia to the world stage - Emerging Cricket
Women's Cricket in Indonesia has rapidly outgrown its Men's counterpart, now the Persatuan Cricket Indonesia targets the Women's World Cup

Given my bio, here is the piece I wrote for Emerging Cricket last year on Indonesian women's cricket, and the infrastructure that launched the senior team to a T20I ranking of 21 and the U19s to Indonesia's first ever global ICC event.

So many people say that Associate teams deserve more bilateral series against Full Members, but I think the game changer would be if Full Members were made to play in regional qualifiers (e.g. England, unless they win or host a tournament, don't auto qualify and have to beat other European teams).
I like how every two years at a T20 World Cup everyone goes “wow the associate cricket teams are much better than we thought, we should do more to assist their development and grow the global game” and then nothing changes
