The NG+ portals have different dialogue for the loquacious King Yap-Yap than the final battle.

Thankfully.

(I know this is a fan-project that is old and did not undergo finalization, but my god the dialogue is CRINGY in places.)

My high school physics teacher would show episodes of Julius SUMner Miller's show as a treat sometimes. They were fantastic fun and VERY memorable. We even named the class pet -- a white mouse -- "Jules" after Professor Miller :D

This just proves an important fact: no matter how arid the weather usually is, that's no excuse to cheap out and build cardboard houses in the void.

The growing distortion in each frame is wonderfully WRONG. It reminds me of the Obelisk stuff :D

Betty is so sweet and so innocent that she calls out Cassidy for attempted extortion rather than Cassidy's not-so-smooth attempt to pimp Betty's father out for french fries XD

(And as much as Connor sometimes wishes Cassidy was more like Betty, he wouldn't trade his younger daughter for anyone!)

Because it is weak to water/ice ONLY, and is IMMUNE to Lightning and Fire :| AND it leeches HP from the party.

Needless to say, my party was highly useless and was wiped out despite being leveled in the high 80s.

(There's TWO water elemental characters and I brought NEITHER. I am SMART :D)

I initially watched this with the sound off and I could tell EXACTLY what line Cassidy used to make Beth go apeshit XD

Good thing Cassidy has a lumberjack sister who will save her from this ferocious beast (because their parents would be real sad if Nelle didn't)!

Woo! Even with my scary-powerful team, Spekkio's Pink Nu form is a BEAST. I managed to luck out before too many rounds -- the three red plates helped, and so did Robo and Marle's Ice Tackle tech -- but EGADS.

(And it's impossible to get mad at him, despite the difficulty: he's just so affable!)

The MOOD in these pictures is just.... palpable. They're very discomforting in very great ways. The gameshowy lever-pulling one has BAD THINGS AHEAD and the Depression Treatise presentation captures how it feels when talking about one's slapped-around-by-the-universe times and its effects.

Despite my feelings about "Flames of Eternity" as a whole, I do like Kasmir. Mostly I like making fun of him!

Seriously, his "step into my illusion" line has INCREDIBLE "welcome to my magical realm" vibes :D
