Seeing the Bill Watterson originals full of pencil lines of stuff that didn’t work, scuffs the eraser didn’t pick up, white out galore and more was something I needed to see to remind myself that nothing is perfect the first go and tweaks need to be made and you’re allowed to try again.

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Absolutely, reality is just a perception. What we perceive is affected by so many filters accumulated over time. Messing with the filters can lead to quite an experience. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes mundane, but always altering if you can capture that moment and give it some analysis.

Did you have covid in the past? It seems to have changed how our bodies respond, as well as bugs just seeming to be nastier in the last few years :(. Hope you feel better soon!
