Zhyk hides his injuries and usually tends to them himself. Simple wounds can be treated with basic medical supplies & care that he learned. More extensive wounds are often cauterized - and some bear a novice arcanist's healing rune, as if he could heal in any manner other than flame. ->

They say write what you know so usually mine have some sort of disconnect from community or sense of not belonging anywhere. Even those that seem happy and well adjusted are holding deep down a belief of being Apart in some way.

Miqo'te since the start. I fanta'd briefly to Au Ra but it didn't really fit with lore and was pretty jarring to play so I swapped back.
Now I've got an Au Ra alt to fill that gap instead!

Stews, antelope in particular. It reminds Zhyk of his mum despite the distance in their relationship.
Strawberries are important as they were Temur's favorite.
He's also fond of the apple pastries in Ishgard, which is one of the very few positive experiences in that place - again because of Temur.

At some point I want Zhyk to get to the Steppe so he can meet the people who should have been his in-laws (which I consider a decently deep connection outside of where he as born).
His resilience.
With all he's been through & how he's basically in some sort of dead/undead/limbo state (it's complicated), he just kind of keeps going and it's a strength to be admired.

Not well. Zhyk usually is fairly oblivious to it, but after some events, he's kind of picked up on it & gets a bit cagey. He's had a lot of bad experiences from someone getting attached to him and it's starting to wear on him to the point he actively shuts down if flirted with off the bat. ->

Zhyk nearly turned. Had the whole experience of being cocooned in black mist during a panic attack, but managed to rein it in. It was one of those experiences that added fuel to the fire of his nightmares, especially since he spent most of the Final Days combating turning. ->
#wolqotd How did your wol process the horrors they witnessed through the Final Days? Did they grin and bear it as part of their duty or did it severely effect them in some way?

Zhyk's 'one step forward, two steps back' a lot which pisses people off for not having "healthy" social interactions. He's abrasive, withdrawn, aggressive when uncomfortable (even verbally), and feeds on people's aether 🙄
