One of my statements at the UN 80th General Assembly:

"We did not stop the Holocaust. We did not stop the genocide in Rwanda. We did not stop the genocide in Srebrenica. Now we have no excuses left; we must stop the genocide in Gaza."

I am not sure if I disagree with Pidcock or with the framing by @domestiquecycling.com
Yes, putting riders in danger is not an effective protest strategy, but I didn’t see any evidence of that happening, at least not on the broadcast.
🇬🇧 Pidcock on 🇪🇸 #LaVuelta25 neutralisation

"Putting us in danger isn't going to help your cause, that simply isn't going to help what they are protesting for. Everyone has got the right to protest whatever they want, but putting us in danger is not the way forward.”

It would not surprise me if, despite winning 5 GTs and a litany of other stage races, Rogla’s legacy is that he was the best mentor of his era.

Omg they told Tadej of Urska & Del Toro’s performances on the radio 😭💕

I swear Nils Politt hasn’t seen a slipstream all Tour. Even when he’s not pulling he’s still a giant

Pogi is my favorite rider. This has lead to Jonas being vaguely villain-shaped in my mind. But starting last year, and now after his moves at the Dauphine and stage 1 of TdF I think he has firmly moved into “second favorite” status. Bring on the clash of my beloved aliens!

To the other American cycling fans: I hope we all can sleep through fireworks to wake up on time for Lille tomorrow.

I've seen a lot of people dreading the Tour and media around it. Jonas fans fear domination, Pogi fans fear media backlash.

So here's my pep talk: Watching cycling is YOUR hobby and brings YOU joy. Don't let that get taken away from you. Focus on the good things and don't let bad vibes sour them!!!

Alright friends I need help convincing my non-cycling-pilled friends to watch the Tour with me.

Any good narrative hooks I can use?

Pogi at the finish revealing the real reason he attacked: he needed to catch the end of Urska’s race.

I’ve never really paid attention to Mads before but I have gained a lot of respect for him at this Giro as he supports his teammates with these crazy efforts.

He fought like he always does, but this Giro just wasn't meant to be. I have nothing but respect for this man, He is a true fighter and I really admire him 💔

I think this sentiment is partly why we often get the “UAE without Pogi is in disarray” narrative. We (I would say rightly) don’t trust the team to do literally anything and we only trust that Pogi is the leader because it’s the most foregone conclusion in the sport at the moment.
Not trusting UAE one bit, even after that statement

South and Central America really animating this #GirodItalia Torito looking incredibly strong, Bernal and Carapaz animating things repeatedly.

Hoping Del Toro and Bernal stay clear, Wout takes the stage, and Pellizzari catches Ayuso for Roglic. This is the ideal scenario.

The #Eurovision semifinals are always a fun way to remind myself that taste in music is incredibly varied.
Gutted for Georgia & Montenegro; I’ll keep you in my playlists.

Beautiful victory for Demi in #LaVueltaFemenina entirely too early in the morning (my time). Time to turn my attention to the Giro time trial.

Watching the Giro (far too) early this morning and I am enjoying the Italian accent of Jacopo Guarnieri in the commentators booth. It feels right at home.

Delighted by the strong win by Demi in #LaVueltaFemenina today. I always love a race of attrition up a tough climb. Incredible work by Labous and Muzic to make that happen.

It was wild watching the #TourDownUnder this year. Going into the race, my favorite to win was Narvaez. And yet as he clinches the stage win (and likely the overall come tomorrow) I can’t help but feel gutted for Romo.

Last year's #TourDownUnder introduced me to Del Toro who has proven very exciting to watch. This year, I think the new inductee into my list of personal favorites is Fergus Browning. I'm a sucker for a rider who goes all out with more heart than sense. A fabulous ride today again.

It was an interesting stage 2 for the Men’s #TourDownUnder. At the start, Welsford was the most likely candidate to take the win. Then the middle of the race happened and that story got a lot more complicated and interesting. And then he won anyway.
