And thanks to @graycastlepress.com for setting the Tiny Table dataset loose when the site closed!

+IWTPG! Update+

85% of the games that were listed on Tiny Table Index have now been listed on iwanttoplay.games — the remaining 60'ish are uploaded but need images so not yet live, I'll be doing that when I get the chance. Was a far more manual process than I'd hoped but almost done now 😀

#3 (of 3) Goodlooking Crowdfunding Things That You Might Like

And I'm REALLY VERY MUCH looking forward to seeing this. I don't have a teen-era story to add to it, I just am. Although I did spend a large part of a night verrry closely watching a slug once. I'm not sure that counts.

🐛 The Perilous Pear & Plum Pies of Pudwick is DIY Crowdfunding on Melsonia's website now!

I was directly inspired by the world building of #HollowKnight & pitched this book in 2019, so it's been in development as long as #Silksong!

Go buy my first book! It's good!

#2 (of 3) Goodlooking Crowdfunding Things That You Might Like

In my teens I also watched a lot of X-Files, Twin Peaks, Dark Skies, etc and if I wasn't currently on a non-essential spending embargo I'd be all-in on this one.

Now LIVE on Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/mon...

Asher's Ridge is a GM-less, zero-prep #TTRPG for one to four players, inspired by Twin Peaks, The X-Files, and Stranger Things.

Connect threads of letter tiles and experience the unexplainable in the (dark?) heart of the Lake District.
A copy of Asher's Ridge sits among photos and a map. Letter tiles spell out "Back it now on Kickstarter"

#1 (of 3) Goodlooking Crowdfunding Things That You Might Like

When I was a teen I had a No Fear poster of a freeballing climber—y'know, when they're on a cliff face with no ropes, pretty sure that's the right term anyway—on my wall. But I did, I did fear. No poster will tell me what to do.

I can absolutely help out with this (so long as you know your elevation (and why wouldn't you?!))
A page of text that reads: Distance
It can be difficult to gauge an exact distance from yourself to the creatures so please use one of the following two simple methods of estimation instead.
DISTANCE TO HORIZON
When at a height of 6 ft horizon is ~ 3 miles away
... Io ft ~ 4 miles
... 25 ft ~ 6½ miles
... 50 ft ~ 9 miles
... 1oo ft ~ 12 miles
...200 ft ~ 19 miles
...500 ft ~ 30 miles
... 1,000 ft ~ 32½ miles
... 2,000 ft ~ 60 miles
... 5,000 ft ~ 93½ miles
HEIGHT ABOVE SEA LEVEL
Split the distance to the horizon into thirds. The first third is NEAR, the second is MID, the third is FAR (as illustrated on page x & x1).
Circle the appropriate distance.
Your perceived distance to the horizon changes depending on your height above sea level (as shown in table).
There is quarter-circle in the top left corner of your page, above the label: DISTANCE.
Use a map to find your elevation (or estimate if confident) and note that number in the quarter-circle.
EXTRA-SENSORY PERCEPTION
When you don't have a clear view of the horizon or are unsure where the creature might be in relation to the cloud, note 'P' for PERCEPTION in the quarter-circle and employ your pendulum:
Hold it over each distance designation: NEAR (N), MID (M), & FAR (F), on the DOWSING BOARD, circling the one that exhibits the greatest swing.

Eep, if you haven't already, suggest poking them via their 'games@...' email and/or their surprisingly well-hidden contact form (help.kickstarter.com/hc/en-us/req...)? Have had success with both in the past

So, on 29th August, the US is ending de minimis treatment for parcels under $800 value globally. It's already done this for China; now it's going to come in for everyone. If you post parcels to America, this is going to affect you, in one of several ways.

—and I've never been more worried about getting a package so carefully to its destination before (and I've sent some pretty ridiculous things through the post)

First time making leather armour. Have realised the aim of leather work is not the end product but to finish the project with no more or fewer fingers than you go in with.

I'm not saying I'm needy but I've sent two messages to a Facebook Marketplace seller in the last 48hrs and they've not responded to either of them so I'm now trying to figure out just what is wrong with me, y' know, deep down, as a person—why don't they like me-eee??
aethercorpgames.bsky.social
😂 I hope you were able to salvage it (and have appropriately stocked up in case it ever happens again)

Nothing is perfect, everyone will probably have fun, if they don't then that's probably on them. Unless you've kicked them in the shin, then it's probably on you. Or you didn't bring enough nerf guns. Pack some more nerf guns. And water. That should do it. Good luck. (Have fun!)

They could do with some eyeballs 👀
