I've been unhappy with some of my older Genshin videos for a while now, as they also became pandemic vlogs. But since I can't just redo them (due to exclusive timed content), for the time being, I'll be privating them for manual review, and making them public as I comb them over.
Got a whole assortment of devices hooked up to me now. 🏥😷
Checking into the ER because I spontaneously fainted and fell into the bathtub this morning.

Probably low blood pressure or anemia from a *year* of all my other unaddressed (aka backlogged) symptoms.

Been trying to see a specialist for said year now, but I guess my body just couldn’t wait anymore.
Remember though, mental health *is* productivity. I understand it can be hard being busy with family (same boat). But maybe set aside 30-60 minutes before bed? Even if it's just to watch one episode of a show. Or an hour of a handheld game just for you. It personally really helps me shift focus.
Honestly, same. Feel free to take a break if need be. Hopefully Twitchcon helps. But even at home, maybe try some stuff that is just for you. No obligations, just game or watch something for fun. Help give your brain a bit of reset and chance to unwind.

I used to do this a lot with homework as a kid too. I wanted to get good grades, and I could even be interested in the subject material. But after a long day, I'd fully intend to do homework (no distractions), get my name/assignment title on the page and just...zone out. For the rest of the night.
A big symptom of LP/livestream burnout for me is that I can sit down, get all of the programs open, but not bring myself to go live. I'll just...stare at the title screen for like an hour (...or three) before I have to shut it all down because I no longer have enough time to accomplish the task.
Narrator's voice: "They were not, in fact, ready to eat solid foods yet."

Remission eludes me yet again. Back to liquids. My appt. is late October. 😭

But in more positive news, Person B and C are both fully recovered. Person A is feeling much better, and we're just waiting on some test results.
I don't see the exact crappy KB5063878 or KB5062660 update. But whose to say the issue isn't rolled into another update I just don't know about?

And yes I know SSD firmware is the real culprit, but the Windows update still triggers it. I'm also not sure if 1TB Corsair MP400's are even affected.
Windows 11: Oh, I see you're in the middle of uploading a file that takes five hours, and have like 20 tabs open that aren't saved to bookmarks. You're clearly in the middle of something. Updates are also turned off. LET'S UPDATE WHILE YOU'RE ASLEEP. RESPOND IN 3 MINS OR I ASSUME I HAVE PERMISSION.
I absolutely can't stand that Windows 11 treats sleep mode or an idle PC as permission to blanket update itself. My absence is not consent, Microsoft!

Not only did it mess up the data I was uploading (causing me to start over), I now potentially have the SSD killer firmware.

I want to fucking cry.
Not the best in market, but it was a Gigabyte K6800.

I actually don't care for any of the multimedia buttons on it. More so I really loved everything about the keys, key shape, material feel, noise levels, and board shape helped balance my wrists w/o extra padding.

Taking recommendations if anybody has them. But if it's mechanical, it needs to be quiet (like a membrane board). And if it has lights, they need to have an option to be static, not that bright, or better yet, able to be turned off completely. A number pad is also a non-negotiable necessity.
The mechanical gaming keyboard I have as backup is responsive, but not really conducive to writing essays for key feel. It's also annoyingly loud and uncomfortable long-term.

But office keyboards anymore are so cheap in design they aren't practical for my kind of work (or gaming) either. 😒
My keyboard is dying and they don't make this model anymore. I've been using this one for over a decade, so I'm *really* reluctant to change. So many boards anymore are uncomfortable, loud, distracting, or weirdly not meant for typing at length for long periods of time??
It was still up in the air last I looked (will have to look back into it). Glad your drive are safe though. Mine...not so much. *Sweats in Corsair*.
I've had the power go out when updating my last old desktop PC before. Thankfully the PC was okay, but I think the whole apartment could hear how loud I yelled as a result lol.

Are you trying to avoid the latest SSD issue too?

Update: Person A is scheduled for some more tests soon, Person B no longer has pneumonia, and Person C is almost fully recovered.
I'm still holding a low-grade fever, but am able to keep down some liquid or soft foods now.
Unfortunately I'm not sure if it was only when I was streaming though, because I always streamed back then.
It was the same with me and PS4. Switch was fine. Wii U was fine. But PS4 for whatever reason just slowly started to de-sync on the recording over time, even though the tv audio was fine.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It didn't used to do that either, so it's either the result of an OBS update, or a Playstation one.
So far Person A is out of the ER and needs to follow a treatment plan for a few days, but is doing ok.
Person B is who I'm most concerned about, with Covid + pneumonia on top of other health issues.
Person C has Covid, but is doing fine.
And I'm running a mild fever on top of a bad autoimmune flare.
This week has been rough. Three family members had to go to the hospital (two were ER - one for a possible severe infection, another for Covid + pneumonia), renovations were scheduled the following day, and now I'm also having a really bad autoimmune flare (doing my best to also avoid the hospital).
