My first ever Pokemon regional was in Toronto this weekend! Here’s the list I brought and my 2-4-1 record (I left before round 8 because I was exhausted). What a beautiful city :) I’m glad this hobby gave me an excuse to meet new people and enjoy Canada with my lovely girlfriend ☺️

Just got to the Cardinal’s death in Wolf Hall. I’m obsessed with a novel that hinges its entire premise on a climactic event that happens a) exactly halfway through its 600 pages and b) over the span of maybe one paragraph.

we watched Booksmart for a @chatzpod.bsky.social bonus episode yesterday and i've not stopped thinking about adapting The Hero's Journey for the teen party-jumping comedy

What’s the general take been on Kirby Air Riders after a weekend with it? I haven’t had a ton of time to play, but my first City Ride run brought me a feeling of warm inspiring nostalgia and hope that games can make me feel like they did as a kid again.

I will never understand why people would actually do this. Do people really keep like...Twitch clips saved to their camera roll? Am I missing a joke here?

My last cup of 2025, the first year of my Pokemon TCG career! Changes to Grimmsnarl were basically just adding consistency via Nest Ball and Iono, and the extra E. Switch makes Pecharunt ex a BEAST for closing out tight games. Need to practice it more next year, but happy to have gone out on a 2-3.
