By the way, it’s not a big number of people. It’s a handful of parents with less than a handful of kids.
And yet. Ironic and beautiful how friends can heal you without ever intending to do so, just by being themselves and living their lives.

The past few months my sleep schedule has been rough… I rarely manage to sleep (in bed) before 2am, but I tend to fall asleep / get super tired on the couch around 10. It doesn’t hold up until after I’ve done the night chores though 😭 And then I lie awake or I game, because why lie awake!!! AAAAH

I used to like a good cry, because sometimes sobbing until your ribs get numb just helps. Nowadays my tears literally burn on my face and in my eyes though. Like. Actually painful. I’m now rubbing my eyes and face the whole time I cry because it’s just unpleasant.

The cats are allowed in the bed, which is usually not much of an issue.
However, Mareile has started to jump over my head to get out of bed (15 y/o cats still learn new tricks I guess), and I have a visceral hate reaction to that. Especially half asleep - my whole body tenses up, I hate it so much 😭

we have an old man in the dog club who can’t hold his young (big and heavy and energetic and no recall) dog. One day his dog showed up in a choker chain, no added stop… he got an earful from literally everyone who saw and didn’t bring that chain again.
