No amount of friendship posting will get them out of this one I’m afraid

As long as they don’t do something stupid like promote him for 2026 this would be the best thing for him tbh
aistray.bsky.social
They might just give him one quali session, as a treat
aistray.bsky.social
Depends on where dunne ends up next year tbf, he could well be on the grid in 2027
aistray.bsky.social
….maybe don’t look on my page so

What’s even crazier is that they literally have driverless automated metros and they still haven’t made an easier way of getting tickets for it hahaha
aistray.bsky.social
You can buy a card for €2 (navigo easy pass) that you load tickets onto in any train station - there’s also an app where you can get a digital version and buy tickets like that. You can get day/longer passes but unless you’re doing a lot of travelling it’s not usually worth it

Welcome back, it’s been chaos
aistray.bsky.social
I wouldn’t put it past them tbf if they wanna run with the Oscar as the villain arc
aistray.bsky.social
I would start watching DTS again if they managed to get some of the fallout from that on camera
aistray.bsky.social
Personally I think that Oscar should commit as many on track terrors as he likes now since the team is going to treat him badly either way 😌
aistray.bsky.social
Nobody’s falling for it it’s hilarious
aistray.bsky.social
Oh they’re REALLY doing damage control now lmao

I’ve seen some rumours about Oscar’s management trying to get him out for 2027, so there could be a buyout clause to get him to leave early, but he’s clearly not happy there and to me it seemed like Sunday was when he really realised that 🙃
aistray.bsky.social
I think what annoys me about this as well is that this is a completely different situation this season - Lando and Oscar are the two main title contenders, and asking them to help the other one out for the sake of team dynamics is insane behaviour lmao
aistray.bsky.social
But Oscar is absolutely getting fucked over this season - I have my own thoughts on why that is, but regardless I think without the team doing whatever they’ve been doing he’d be much further ahead than he is now - not to mention the knock on his confidence this is probs having!
aistray.bsky.social
Yeah as much shit as I give Lando you can’t really blame him for being happy to benefit from the situation - he wants to win and he’ll do anything to do it (even if I don’t like the way it’s being done)
aistray.bsky.social
I think it all just comes together in one larger issue of meddling for the sake of meddling, and only helping one driver in the process. I’m not surprised to see all these rumours about Oscar’s management talking to other teams for 2027, if things aren’t changing now it’s unlikely they will at all
aistray.bsky.social
But the fact that Lando has hit Oscar twice with no repercussions, and the two times in recent memory that Oscar even came close to hitting lando (even though he didn’t) had mclaren clutching their pearls and telling Oscar to cool it is crazy
aistray.bsky.social
Oh the contact stuff is 100% worse because it’s so one sided, I just find the swapping in the sake of ‘fairness’ stuff ridiculous bc there’s just no way to be 100% fair about it, and yet there’s somehow a way to always benefit Lando
aistray.bsky.social
And that could be wrong! But the fact that it’s so vague is an issue in itself
aistray.bsky.social
I think one of the (many) issues with McLaren and whatever rules they want to have is that it’s so unclear what’s papaya rules, what’s being done for the sake of the team and what’s fair - imo I think Hungary was part of this papaya rules narrative, but it wasn’t public yet

Don’t threaten me with a good time
