Finished this piece up last night. Skeleton knight is done in Micron pen and Payne's gray water color. The background is acrylic paint. May do a series of fantasy pieces like this. More likely, I'll get get distracted and draw something completely different.

The idea for Risen In Flame started with a character, that character being Cart The Soulless, a warrior trained from childhood to be part of the Order of the Soulless.

"Cart The Soulless awoke in darkness." So my first fantasy novel begins. I've had ideas for a fantasy series kicking around in my brain for years. I grew up reading and watching fantasy, horror, and science fiction. The idea of a badass warrior resurrected by a god kept coming to me. Thus, Cart the Soulless was born. The first draft for Risen In Flame is done, and I'm about halfway through edits.
