It’s not one I can bust episodes out of regularly, but I love doing this with @samwellpv.bsky.social.

We had a great chat about Charlie Chaplin. Genius artist, awful man are the cliff notes.

Hope you enjoy!

The whole of this looks great, but the first two minutes especially is an absolutely sublime piece of comedy.

It’s no secret that the way we consume media these days is different than it was 10 years ago. Who doesn’t like to be on their phone while they’re watching TV? Well, Hollywood has noticed your attention is split.

Enter: the vertical micro-drama.

Great, offbeat character actor. Felt like he was in everything.

Recently enjoyed watching him as a sinister cult priest guy in Arnie’s mad End of Days. He probably played a role like that 100 times.

Happy 62nd birthday #DoctorWho! A big part of my life and I suspect, if you're seeing this, of yours too.

A couple of years ago, I was asked to write a piece for the BBC's 'History of the BBC' site for the show's 60th anniversary. Here's what I came up with... #DoctorWhoDay #DoctorWho62
60 years of our Doctor Who
Part of popular culture in the UK and beyond for 60 years, Doctor Who is a BBC programme through and through, says Paul Hayes.

I find this utterly baffling and probably smell horseshit over this entire piece.

James Bond has never had a consistent narrative. Each Bond is basically a new bloke. It doesn’t matter if he died. That was just one version. You start again fresh.

A thrill seeing #InsideNo9 on stage last night with #StageFright at New Theatre in Oxford.

Won’t give any secrets away but it was as you’d imagine - hilarious, melancholy, creepy, clever and a bit meta. The proper curtain down after the show ended.

Still on tour so see it if you can.

Love chatting with Hugh, obviously, but having John on too is a particular pleasure.

He recorded this while driving through Italian roads at night, befitting this weird but tremendous film.

Hope you enjoy us getting into it.
