Yesterday marked the dreaded day, when 51 shark nets were once again dropped into NSW beaches.

This year, 3 councils, will trial the removal of a net at one beach each. It’s a small step, but nowhere near enough.

Shark nets don’t keep swimmers safe, they kill marine life.

Three-year-old "Trunkey Jennings" broke both its front legs at Horsham (WA) - "a left and right foreleg radius and ulna open fracture".
