The “feels like” temperature in Minneapolis is -34°C (-29.2°F). That’s so cold that Minneapolis might have considered closing the schools regardless because it’s too cold and the busses won’t start. And still people are out to stand up for their neighbors and protect their city from the invasion.
It's -20 in Minneapolis and organizers are in the streets before dawn getting ready for actions related to the general strike. They've had locals training out-of-town volunteers on how to prepare for and endure the cold. AND IT IS WORKING. THE STRIKE IS HAPPENING. THE CITY IS DOING THE DAMN THING...

There’s, like, extensive evidence that shows that hand writing things helps the brain to comprehend new information and think about problems (and therefore solve problems) better than any computer-assisted note taking can, including typing the same information.
it's not the same, but think about how many people can't write cursive anymore or whose handwriting skills have dropped off significantly because they type on a computer or iPhone screen instead of manually handwriting
