Btw my favorite progression fantasy isekai example is the one where it wasnt even the fuckin main character and its another important historical character who got isekaid into another world to be a chosen one. Twice. Like travel between worlds is mentioned, but this bitch had a magic iphone.
So after spending the past couple years getting into litrpg, which has heavy overlap with isekai. I realize there's basically 3 types.
The "Me-sekai" a lone hero reborn into a world.
The "We-sekai" where an entire world is people who were reborn.
And finally the VRsekai. Like SAO and all.
