I guess I should introduce myself. I'm a fantasy/ scifi (mostly fantasy thu) reader🧚🏾♀️.
I read pretty slow about 40 books last year (may of which were novellas)🐢. My reading goal for this year is 20.

This one is for the scifi-fantasy diet section. A beautiful character-driven narrative about the wealthy former gifted kids who became deeply dysfunctional adults. I really liked the characters and messaging, but the fantasy/scifi elements are underutilized.

This is the first book I read by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. I have to say I love the writing style; it's immersive without being overly descriptive. It is a slower, more character focused story. I would have rated it higher, but one of the relationships/situations is a bit questionable. 3⭐️ #booksky

You know what these reading tracker apps need to add? A "never gonna read" list. And, they need to let you put a section like a review on why. Cause after seeing y'all reviews for a certain dystopian adult novel, I feel I need to have special place to put it. 👀 #booksky
