It was eerily quiet & bitterly cold in DC, Jan 6 Eve, as folks hunkered down for the approaching blizzard. The National Museum of African American History & Culture shines a light on the Washington Monument. There should be a new exhibit for a fine black President. It’s fitting they’re snowed out.
I’m not surprised. I felt this deeply myself at the time and could barely imagine how she felt but I knew it must be excruciating beyond description. Not even a year later I’m still mourning this singular, multifaceted tragedy, not to mention all the related tragedies since. I hope she finds peace.

I’m not surprised. I felt this deeply myself at the time and could barely imagine how she felt but I knew it must be excruciating beyond description. Not even a year later I’m still mourning this singular, multifaceted tragedy, not to mention all the related tragedies since. I hope she finds peace.
So many Americans are ignorant about global politics. A police officer didn’t even know Macron’s name referring to him simply as ‘President’. Liberation requires education. There’s a whole Earth beyond America not in this mess. The country wouldn’t be in such a state if more ppl were more informed.

Time will tell what impact the 50 000 and counting cancellations of Disney+, that crashed their systems, has had on their business model of both sidesing fascism. But nothing will alter the moral failing of Bog Iger and co giving American Nazis the acceptable veneer of Tinker Bell’s fairy dust.

One of the biggest mistakes left-of-center pundits and influencers made was decamping to Bluesky. They made themselves irrelevant, shrunk their audiences, and dramatically lessened the positive impact they could have on our public debate at the precise time we needed it most.
