I keep telling people that the main reason the Reichsbanner/Iron Front failed was their insistence on nonviolence _while actively getting attacked_ but apparently that keeps scaring the hoes

(Then again, Weimar Republic was a very messed up place so drawing direct comparisons is a bit complicated)

Minor pedantry: Furnished apartments do exist here ("möbliert") but that used to be a bad idea because it allowed for a rent-control loop hole where landlords didn't have to stick to the legal max. increases. I _think_ that loophole was closed though, not sure.

(and I just saw that they're hawking that thing for 100+$ on ebay for some reason lol, you can't even use it outside of a rack server because those 225W are actually passively cooled - it's an absolute beast of a heatsink on there)

Love how we describe GPU compute capacity in terms of gigawatt now. Time to whip out my 2008 nvidia M2070's - 225W per card at 0.02% the performance of a 5090, some AI dude will probably pay top dollar for that thing

Ich hatte mal mit einem Bekannten aus dem Arbeitgeberservice gesprochen der meinte, dass die im jc alle kein Bock auf die Position haben und es als Degradierung betrachten, dass sie dort sind. Was ja schön und gut ist, aber dass dann an den Leuten auszulassen sagt ne Menge über den Charakter aus

Vielleicht spielt die Regierung hier 4D Schach mit Anfassen und hofft, dass die Bevölkerung sich denkt "holladiewaldfee, 2029 wähle ich sozialer um so eine Scheisse in Zukunft zu vermeiden"

Oder die sind einfach naiv, korrupt und asozial, das kann natürlich auch sein.

Wenn wenigstens dieses Problem gelöst werden würde damit der Stressfaktor endlich wegfällt und ich für Alice einen neuen Partner suchen kann.😥
Ich denke er würde sich auch sehr in Außenhaltung wohlfühlen aber das ist erst ab Frühjahr wieder möglich wegen des fehlenden Winterfells.

Immer ein Spaß wenn mir Leute vom Dorf erzählen, wie mein Leben in der Stadt scheinbar aussieht - aber wenn man es dann umdreht und fragt, ob das wirklich so geil ist in der Pampa zu leben und für alles erstmal 30km fahren zu müssen, ist man natürlich arroganter Städter.

My son lives again.

Had to hack together a little hsync + vsync = csync circuit because as it turns out, just wiring them together and being an optimist only works for a while until your GPUs DAC starts being unhappy about it. Live and learn.
