I haven’t seen a single newsroom seriously grappling with how Trump’s 47 agenda is positioned to terrorize the humanity and sanity of Black Americans. It’s loud, violent erasure wrapped in patriotism and scripture—and folks are pretending it’s just politics.

I think we [us] have made things too easy for this country. For centuries, we’ve postured ourselves as grateful, graceful and forgiving people… while we simultaneously find ourselves in brutal mental and physical battles nearly every decade begging for rights and freedoms that are innate.
