Relieved that voters resoundingly rejected this fascist bullshit.

Angry that we still have at least another year of it, probably another three, and that we're by no means in the clear.

Livid that it all could have been avoided if we had simply not reelected the asshole who tried a coup.
Maybe slightly different because the city is just the landlord and the vendor spaces are contracted to private vendors, though perhaps that's what Mamdani's city run grocery stores would look like anyway. The city probably would just take bids from private grocers who want to run the store.
While completely correct, every single word of that is completely meaningless to the average voter. Using precious attention time and money to get that message out is a total waste. Better to just say, "we will restore abortion rights!"
I don't think they can run on the courts. It's too technical. Public doesn't know/understand/care. Just say what they will accomplish by expanding courts. I.e. protecting medical treatment for women.
In the USA, it's almost impossible to sue over bad journalism. Even in UK, where it's somewhat easier, I don't think he would have any case.

CNN is reporting that @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social referred to a voter he was meeting as “my man” at a campaign event today, even though the 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution has made it illegal to own human beings since 1865 and remains the law in states including New York

Mamdani referred to a friend as 'bro' but a Free Press investigation has determined that this man is not his sibling.
It's possible the officer would have a civil defamation claim against him, but yes, a criminal prosecution is outrageous.
Probably doesn't really count because it's diegetic, but Vivaldi's Concerto for 2 Trumpets over the typewriter in All the President's Men.
A reversed race Get Out would be terrible, but still a fun casting game. Obviously Chalamet as Chris? Zendaya as Rose? Denzel first came to mind as the dad but he's probably too old? Will Smith?
I would cut out the stuff about Roberts. Sadly, the general public doesn't know or care about the courts.

Leavitt: "At this moment in time, of course, the ballroom is really the president's main priority."

Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.

When all of this is finally over, I hope the people who ordered and carried out these extrajudicial assassinations are given the due process they don't believe in before they're punished for murder.

Things may be slowly changing, but there was nothing Biden could have done to force anything on Netanyahu. If he had cut off aid, Harris loses New York.

The case against Comey is beyond weak. The case against James is worse. It is based on a lie, and they know they're lying because exculpatory evidence that contradicts the indictment had already been presented to a grand jury in another jurisdiction. Everyone involved with this needs to be disbarred
