Had a blast carving pumpkins with my son, Oscar. He helped with getting all the seeds out of his pumpkin. He did an awesome job.

Today I branched out and went to one of those Montessori play group places. It was fun. Russell played well with the other kids. I’m proud to say I am a relaxed mom now. Mind you, it took everything in me not to lead a single-a-long, but my chill side prevailed.

One thing that worked for my lovingly stubborn son was have him comb my hair first. Oscar’s turn than Mommy’s turn.

Of course my hair was a mess after but you win some you lose some.

Today taking it easy and running to Once upon a child to pick up Oscar’s next set of clothes. He is so tall! Size 5T, but he’s skinny so I have to find pants with drawstring.

15 US states and territories have formed a new Public Health Alliance, which will counter the absence of federal leadership by tracking outbreaks, issuing guidance, buying vaccines and more.

Members of the new alliance include CA, CO, CT, DE, GU, HI, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, OR, RI, WA.

Taking stock of outdoor winter jackets and snow pants for the boys. It’s funny how the fit in half the size they wear normally. Russell wears 18 months almost 24 months/2T. Snow jacket and pants are 12 months. I don’t get it.

Whoops! I thought leftover tomato soup was marinara sauce. Didn’t realize it until after I added the meatballs. Turned out well with some extra Italian seasoning.

We watched the rest and while very good, we won’t be watching the rest with Oscar. He would love the orchestration in the final scene but the hazmat/doctor scene/death scene would be ALOT.

Also interesting to note, the movie does not show adult faces except the mom until the hazmat scene.
