Offering more appointments out of hours directly contributed to over three-quarters (76.1%) of patients receiving their cancer diagnosis or all clear within 28 days from July 2024 to January 2025, up from 71.8% 12 months earlier.
An extra 80,000 have had cancer a diagnosis or had it ruled out within the 28 target since July 2024, compared to a year earlier.

Figures show that 76.1% of patients were within 28 days compared to just 71.8% before.

Still more to do, but a big improvement thanks to Labour's efforts.
