LCs like to be paid in advance. DWP pays in arrears. The switch creates a "shortfall" despite eligibility for HB & CTB remaining intact. LCs are going after tenants for the money Govt has dodged paying. They must have known this would happen and took no action to prevent.

Then UN forces must deploy in Gaza & West Bank to protect civilians (I urged this on Oct 7/8, which would have created a unique opportunity to end hostility between western & Islamic nations).
A significant Tier 1 force should also be deployed to execute ICC arrest warrants.

Under insolvency procedures, any money distributed by the insolvent entity can be reclaimed as far back as ten years ago in some instances.
The timing of the insolvency could also be considered a contempt of court, which carries custodial consequences

The Judge in this instance somehow ignored the fact that the companies carry out a government function on behalf of govt, and thus cannot be considered private landlords (R v British Gas). The fact the companies are wholly owned by the council cements that.
