I was thinking how much I missed the kiddos after dropping them at school this morning. Then, the youngest called because she forgot her lunchbox. Sure, I had to drive all the way back to the school again, but hearing her sweet little voice on the phone was worth it. 💜☺️

I don’t know anyone who is genuinely happy more than they’re unhappy, and that’s sad. Of course, we all experience things through the day that bring us joy here and there, but life has felt extremely difficult in recent years and seems to be taking its toll.

Took the dogs for a run & hubs was asleep when I got back. Didn’t want to wake him with the en suite shower, so I used the other bathroom & had to borrow my 12 year old’s pj’s from the dryer since he’s now as big as I am. 😭 Not that I’m very big at a mere 5’3”, but I expected it would be a while…

It is INSANE to me that a sandwich and fries at a restaurant is $20. And this is pretty average for my area, unless you’re getting fast food. Husband and I went to dinner for our anniversary last night, and I’m still having sticker shock. We don’t go out much, obviously.

It’s honestly alarming to see ads for people using AI to tell them what to pack in their suitcase or tell them which product laid out on the bathroom sink is concealer. I know we’ve all seen them. If people are unable to figure out these basic things themselves, there is zero hope for the future.
