Brooklyn Park police chief Mark Bruley: "We're hearing people being stopped with no cause & being demanded to show paperwork to determine if they're here legally. We started hearing from our police officers the same complaints. Every one of these individuals is a person of color... it has to stop"

Just listened to RC Sproul last night (recorded) talking about how Christ's church, and individual Christians, must be active in the spheres of common grace AND special grace. He rooted it in God Himself, who acts in both ways in this world. We cannot claim to imitate Him while neglecting either
Sometimes folks find themselves in a society where the Church nearly doesn't exist, though nearly everyone thinks they're in it. Is that too hard to believe? Look around. Read the Sermon on the Mount. Read Matthew 25. Read Luke 4. Read the book of James. Then look around. 1/2

DOJ briefly uploaded this letter from Jeff Epstein to serial child molester Larry Nassar:

"Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to 'grab snatch,' whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system."

Seeing posts about more Epstein documents... released, retracted, covered up... This must be unimaginably grievous to every victim & their families. Lord, move in Your mercy to meet these individuals. Bring justice for these victims. Lord, bring repentance to every perpetrator. Give true life to all

Look, I know we're all sick of hearing "if this had happened with any other president ..." but it's absolutely true and absolutely can't be forgotten.

For some reason, this nation gives this idiotic spoiled brat a free pass from things that would destroy the administration of any other person.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

So, both parties are just gonna pretend that the individual mandate, the part of the ACA intended to bring down prices, wasn't eliminated by congress??? The ACA we have was not the original idea.

So he’s saying all the tariff money we took in is gone and we won’t be able to pay it back. There was always a possibility he could lose this lawsuit and have to refund the tariff money. We didn’t prepare for that possibility? He’s running the govt like he ran his casinos.

So to cap their horrible week, Senate Republicans refused a deal to reopen the government in exchange for just helping people with health insurance and now the president wants the Supreme Court to say he doesn’t have to obey the law and feed the hungry.

Amazing.

Here's another bit of conventional wisdom Zohran completely blew away: His speech was at well above a 10th-grade level. It was complex, erudite, punctuated by deep and fluent references. You don't have to condescend to voters with baby talk! Part of re-establishing norms is speaking like an adult.

Next week, he will have the chance to make his case for mercy.
