Increasingly a man of sorrow over evil within and without. Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner (Luke 18:13). Confident in the sufficiency of Christ, not in myself.

I deleted my account the day before Vance & Trump berated Zelenskyy. I decided to come back because the betrayal of Trump and his sycophants must be met by fierce opposition from every American.

There is talk going around that DHS is now arresting people who fly *domestically* if they have final orders of removal.

Undocumented youth should consider consulting a lawyer to find out what their record is -- especially those whose parents had prior interactions with immigration.

This clip is exactly right. I don't think the NG should be on the streets of 🇺🇲 cities and there is zero excuse for violence. We should have great sorrow over our fellow citizens who joined the NG, to serve the people of their state and us, who have been attacked. Pray for them and their families

Nearly every mechanism that made my career possible—Ford, NSF, Harvard BiGS—is gone or on the way to the chopping block.
This means NSF dissertation improvement grants in the social sciences are simply...not happening.
NEW from me - NSF cancels grant scheme for social science research.

Seems the NSF quietly archived ALL calls for DDRIG grants in the SBE directorate. This is a massive blow for PhD students wanting to do cutting-edge social science research. 🏺🧪

Lord, break the teeth of the wicked, including those who excuse or defend this evil

Lord, subdue every rebel to Your will. Establish Your kingdom, and rule with righteousness and justice over our hearts and our world
This is Adriana, she was only 12-year-old. She died in hospital today. The girl was wounded on November 19, when Russia struck residential buildings in Ternopil with missiles. That same attack killed her mother🕯

This brings death tall in russian attack on Ternopil to 35.

Lord, have mercy. I don't like troops on our streets, Lord, but protect them from violence, just as we want to be protected from violence. Bring healing where there is injury. Protect from death where there is danger of loss of life. Bring justice for this evil that has been perpetrated.

Notice that MAGA never refers to Putin as a “warmonger.” You know, the guy who started the war, bombs civilian population centers daily, & refuses to sign a ceasefire. Nope, according to MAGA, Putin isn’t the warmonger - it’s the people who support Ukraine’s refusal to surrender.

And false!

"break our laws, we will punish you" UNLESS you sack the US Capitol, act corruptly in govt office, or bribe us to treat you favorably

"harm American citizens, there will be consequences" UNLESS you work for DHS, then you can rough up, tear gas, and detain US citizens for jollies

Frankly, the only reason Russia would accept a peace plan that Ukraine has already agreed to is if Putin is in a worse position than we realise. If he were winning, he’d just keep ploughing on.

Listen to the whole clip. Insane that we are allowing this to occur, and by we, I mean society as a whole primarily through those who represent us at the local, state, and federal levels. Our political leaders are failing us daily

Amen

And that final quote in the QT, I love the rest of it as well since it points me to the anchor of my soul:

"You [Jesus] have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God." (ESV)
To me, the hardest apologetic challenges for Christians are not logical, but existential -

~ problem of suffering & evil
~ hypocrites in the church
~ children leaving the faith

To those who struggle with these, I have no good answers except Peter's confession - "Lord, to whom else shall we go?"

Yep. I've been waiting for EU spooks to start reminding Trump that they've got their own capabilities.
Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.
EXCLUSIVE: US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff advised Russia on how to pitch Ukraine plans to Trump, in audio files reviewed by Bloomberg

So, it was a Trump-Putin call that led to the 28 point plan Trump says the 🇺🇲 drafted 🤢
He advised Putin to call Trump, congratulate him on the Gaza deal, and present Russia as eager for peace before Zelensky visited the White House.

Two days later, Putin called Trump in a discussion Trump described as “very productive.”
November 25, 2025 at 8:44 PM
So, since Trump admits the 🇺🇲 drafted the original 28 point 🇺🇦-🇷🇺 peace plan:

Did he and his team rely on notes from one of Trump's many phone calls with Putin to create that draft?

-OR-

Are Trump and his team so far in the tank for Putin they know all the 🇷🇺 talking points by heart?
Trump’s latest tweet. He is taking full responsibility for the “peace” plan. It’s not Witkoff’s, Vance’s or Kushner’s.
It’s Trump’s and it has always been Trump’s.
