Donald Trump has renamed the United States Institute of Peace after himself. Although the president’s approach to pursuing ceasefires may pause the world’s conflicts, it will not end them

Earlier this year, DOGE dismantled the U.S. Institute of Peace and let most of its staff go.

Now, the Institute has been renamed for Trump.

The vanity of this president is out of control.

He doesn't do things to help the American people - he does them to inflate his own ego.

Humility is dead (and so is irony).

An institute that was doing great work is now a laughingstock.

The institute created by Congress, signed into law by Reagan, and axed by Trump back in February.

He literally had the president of the USIP hauled out by police and has now deemed himself the emperor of peace.
