I personally don’t think it was disastrous. I think it was meant for the moderates and republicans to see “hey, even these die hard republicans don’t support Trump, you don’t have to be loyal to the party” a President should be a leader to all and cover many grounds.
i will certainly agree that Kamala's race and gender played a role in her losing but if you are unwilling to even for a second look at her disastrous campaign and look how she was embracing far-right icons and how that demoralized her base, then we can’t have an honest conversation.
