This morning we witnessed an ICE action on our block.

This afternoon I saw this woman standing where it happened.

She was still there this evening.

I took her a bottle of water and asked her if she was standing vigil.

She looked at me with pain on her eyes and said "It's all I can do"

If Denver still had the funding/helium to launch weather balloons, we would have seen the existing record highs for October precipitable water obliterated during this event. Forecasts are for values 1"+ for 24+ hours. There's never been a measured value over 0.8" during October in Denver.

I think in a perfect scenario, all Americans would rally each other, viscerally stand up against this blatant fascism and run it clear off the edge of the world, but it's simply not how the fight works.

We all have different circumstances, support systems & amount of spoons for this.

As a nation, we need to make SURE they fail to do so.

We don’t have kings in this country. It is up to the American people and elected officials to enforce that.

Reading this headline, it becomes immediately clear what the @washingtonpost.com is doing: taking sides, attempting to revise history and showing bias.

The propaganda being put out by the media right now is just unbelievable.

You’ve gotta be kidding me.

This WaPo editorial presents a misleading revisionist history of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal cases against Trump.

Then it has the gall to compare that to Trump’s overt targeting of his perceived enemies.

Really embarrassing stuff.

But the mere fact that a legal tool might be available does not mean it should be used. The
current rage over Grassley's revelation shows why. Smith showed little restraint in his pursuit of a former president. He charged Trump for official acts he took as president. He sought a gag order to limit Trump's ability to criticize the prosecution. He tried to accelerate the case to try a leading presidential candidate before the 2024 election.
