Don't Look Under the Bed (1999)

Directed by Kenneth Johnson

This movie was nightmare fuel for those in the right age range to have seen it when it was on TV

The MTA is such a joke I swear it was better when I was in high school, and we didn’t even have the Q then

seriously. horror fans are as nitpicky as they are loyal to the genre. whenever AI is found in a horror movie, they notice. and by they I mean we.

"The consumers won't care if it's AI."

Ah yes, horror fans -- y'know, the people who famously ask "Are the FX Practical?!" about literally every movie -- definitely won't care that you're feeding them prompt-generated slop. Good call there.

Oh no, the thing that literally no creative wants, that is making people more stupid, spreading fake news, ruining careers, coaching children to take their own lives and destroying the environment all whilst losing its owners billions would tank if they had to stop the art theft that makes it work.

If you thought I only had one guest spot on a podcast drop today, you'd be wrong. Apparently some people are game to let me babble on about movies, and I also guested on God Awful Movies for the erroneously titled House (2008) podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/h...

Yes they did. What we're seeing here is the beginning of the "I was never a (real) supporter" backtracking so they don't have to shoulder any blame for where we are.

They'll all eventually do this, including Republicans in office. We cannot let them live it down. Ever.

“I voted for none of this."

Prominent influencers, including Theo Von, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Schulz, are starting to distance themselves from the president they helped propel to the White House.

I remember being afraid that even though I'd supplied perfectly timed and written CCs that different platforms might not use them and would just autogenerate garbage ones. As far as I can tell that didn't happen, but I was really worried about that

"but it's everywhere now so we just have to accept it's the new reality" motherfucker we can just stop putting it everywhere! we did it with asbestos and CFCs and lead-based paint or petrol and make-up with arsenic in it! if everyone is using something and it's bad, we can choose to stop!

"anti-AI people should just learn more about it" motherfucker I know so much about it, that's why I'm anti-AI
amandajanestern.com
When I was doing the CCs for my feature I went over them so meticulously and so many times to make sure they were actually what the other actor and I were saying and the timing matched up. Bad subtitles/CCs bother me so much

Awesome, maybe working on a scary little short. I know submissions need to be 12pt Times New Roman font, no more than 5 pages. Any specific spacing?

When will submissions open again for the next issue of Salon Sinister?

just putting it out there, I'd really love to book an acting gig soon. I keep coming so close, which is good, and the same CDs keep bringing me in, again, a really good thing, so hopefully it's only a matter of time till the right thing just clicks, but I also miss being on set

Thank you thank you! I'm still trying to figure out if I can swing it this year, but I'm really thrilled it got into their script competition, it's a script I'm super proud of and I know it'll make audiences really gasp if I ever get to make it
