I've listed three pieces of original, framed artwork in my online shop: amandatamsin.fr/collections/...

P.S. This is one of my favourite paths. I once saw two red squirrels here, so close. One rufous and the other black, a variety usually found closer to the Alps.

On reading this, I can imagine the sounds of those clouds...
from time to time
I take off my headphones
and listen
to the sound of
passing clouds

Check out this pincushion protea I found growing on the other side of the lake! It almost looks like something microscopic you'd find growing IN the lake.

The 2026 calendar is looking great and I'm excited to share, but had to take a time out to photograph this beaut first.

I find sweet peace in depths of autumn woods,
Where grow the ragged ferns and roughened moss;
The naked, silent trees have taught me this,—
The loss of beauty is not always loss! 💚

I loved the weather today. A beautiful mist this morning, delicious cold and crisp. A light frost...

J'adorais le temps aujourd'hui. Un froid refraichissant, la brume et une gelee legere ce matin...

Second layer on my latest project... Paintings of a fountain 'Le loup qui pleure' which was sculpted by Yves Varanguin. These are in gouache, but I shall probably do some in other media too and see what emerges...

Felt the drop in temperature today. Time to bring in the desert plants... These amazing aloes were grown by my mum. Pachyphytum, Echeveria and the particularly tender Crassulas also came inside.

Good morning.
Pied/Black Winged Stilt, a few weeks ago. Pretty little birds these.

Love the shapes of this lichen! #lichen #naturesky
Last but certainly not least, this group of trumpet cup #lichen (Cladonia fimbriata) for the lichen aficionados among us. My first time seeing them in the wild, so to speak.

Today in Sumatra we found forest ghost flowers (Aeginetia sp.). This leafless, parasitic plant has no need for sunlight and blossoms unseen in the very depths of the forest.

It's that time again... Late evening, brain is tired, but can happily #slowstitch. It's therapeutic and mindful. No perfection or re-doing. Starting with the running stitch to join together fabric scraps. In the next layer, I'll add a new stitch - suggestions?

Today we found something magical, deep in the wild green heart of Sumatra: Rafflesia kemumu in full bloom. One of the world's largest flowers, to see this extremely rare species in full bloom is truly special.

I like to create layers in my artwork - they may be random and organic, they may hold stories... These layers are not my own, but I was drawn to them whilst walking around #Auxerre.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

I’m still scarred from a poster competition we had in fifth grade. Had to be informational about trees. I worked so hard and lost to a poster that was not informative and it was traced.

I have barely drawn trees since. 🥲
