I think the most dangerous thing the internet has normalized/accepted as "the norm" is dogpiling harassment campaigns. Like people brush it off as "that's the internet for you!" but like. It doesn't need to be this way. Start holding your friends accountable for contributing to that shit

i wish that schools had media literacy classes that went beyond just "the writing" and actually talked about how the media is presented, who made it during what time period, who the media was intended for and how that shapes the messaging, etc

She was a *child* when she did this and Olbermann preyed on her just a year or two later. We can hold her responsible for all of her later in life terrible grown-ass decisions, but this is a disgusting failure of the adults in her life to protect a CHILD.

also I find it concerning that upon quick glances over profiles, seemingly not a single woman in the comments has expressed concern and would rather mock. I think this is indicative of how girls are encouraged to drag each other down early on and become isolated instead of embracing solidarity

I know a lot of ppl are struggling lately cuz of the economy, but if y'all wanna do smth good for ppl, I rly can't emphasize enough how much Adopt a Family Christmas Programs were for me when I was homeless as a kid. I think artists esp could do so much good w/ custom drawings of their fav stuff

I struggle with this to the max. However, when working on your project be it animation, game, comic, or whatever you encounter stuff you can’t draw well… change it. Play to your strengths. Challenge yourself of course but not to the detriment of finishing the damn thing.
