For those confused, Trump/Republicans would strongly prefer Crockett to win the Senate primary bc they don’t think a Black woman has a chance at winning statewide in Texas. They’re terrified of Talarico, who lacked the name recognition to win until CBS tried to censor his interview with Colbert

What links Epstein and Dilley (among their network of concentration camps)? Child trafficking and the unrelenting abuse, assault and abduction of children -- to feed the sick appetites and pad the profits of billionaires.

This will not surprise people on the left. But remember: I'm not from the left. I'm from mainstream Democratic politics in California. I *know* these people. And this is some pretty bad shit.

I've know these people for years. They've worked for Kamala Harris, Jerry Brown, Gavin Newsom, Antonio Villaraigosa, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, etc. Now they are working for crypto and venture capital, as vc and crypto underwrite Trump fascism.

But these tech billionaires are just wholesale buying out the California Democratic Party apparatus. That is very obviously the strategy, and it works. The standard bearers of the California Democratic Party are now subsidiaries of Silicon Valley's worst billionaires.

Amazing how many of the state's top Democratic consultants are selling out to tech. Just cashing tf out. This is why I say the biggest threat doesn't come from Republicans—it comes from Democrats selling us out over time.
BTW: I spent most of my career working for California Democrats.

As Trump becomes more unpopular and the fragile MAGA coalition falls apart, the regime is getting more desperate in its attacks on free speech. Corporate leaders who side with fascists over our freedom of speech are making a bad bet that they will regret. CBS can’t be trusted under MAGA management.

CBS is Trump TV. Less than two months after CBS News suddenly pulled a report on the regime’s prison camps, CBS lawyers told Stephen Colbert that he couldn’t air an interview with a Texas Democratic candidate.

This is what complicity looks like.
Stephen Colbert says CBS didn't air interview out of fear of FCC
Colbert kicked off Monday's episode of "The Late Show" by saying that the network's lawyers told him he could not have Texas state Rep. James Talarico on the broadcast.

There are things states could do to be more resilient against an ICE and CBP suppression campaign (noting that there are not enough agents to suppress at scale).

One is to allow voters to vote at multiple polling places, eliminating the ability of agents to target minority voting places.
I do not think that the president as head of the executive has the capability or capacity to plan and implement a widespread voter intimidation or suppression campaign in advance of the 2026 midterms. But I also think he intends to do so. This is a man who is immune to your human logic.
