I saw some click baity article that said something about there being a "disappointing update" regarding production of season 3. It said nothing though other than some quote from Robert Aramayo about having some more filming to do. "Almost" has me cautiously hopeful though.

We know in Return of the King that Denethor had a palantír in his possession and through it had received visions that had driven him into despair and madness. While Sauron is in possession of a palantír himself and therefore able to use it against Denethor and Saruman, I wonder to what extent - 2/3

While I don't love the ambiguity of how palantíri are intended to work in TROP, treating them almost like crystal balls that tell the future, it isn't completely ungrounded the use of them to receive visions. Yes, they were intended for communication. That can come in more forms than just words. 1/3

My mom commissioned me to draw the Rings of Power cast, so I tried to fit as many in as I could. The back ground and a lot of where each character is sitting is based on a cast photo, but... changes were needed. Had fun designing and drawing each of these intricate outfits.

Galadriel wearing Nenya, Isildur looking at Miriel and Elendil, Celebrimbor holding Feanor's hammer, Elrond decidedly looking away from Miriel and Elendil, Elendil hugging Miriel, Arondir standing in a tree, Gil galad with Aegolus and wearing Vilya, Disa and Durin looking at each other, Nori laying down, Gandalf with his staff, and Halbrand in his Numenorian armor.

Elves are afghan hounds with varying hair lengths, Dwarves are English bulldogs, Numenorians are Great Danes, Hobbits are Glen of Imaal terriers, Gandalf is a giant schnauzer, and Halbrand is an Irish setter.
