As an okie, I’m surrounded by white people who think they aren’t racist because they’re polite and never drop an N-bomb. Yet I watch them back politicians, pastors, and bosses who keep racist systems alive. Truth is, they’d do less harm if they just used slurs and stayed home on election day.

An example that particularly irks me is people accepting at face value that evangelicals "don't believe in climate change" when the reality is much more dark.

I've heard many of them say it is part of God's plan to destroy the earth so he can create a new one!
