The best thing on this app is seeing so many trans women and trans men living their best lives. Revelling in their new bodies and showing themselves to the world. It makes me so happy seeing their joy.

Our next artist is Robin Ilex Studios! They are a trans hand embroidery artist based in Glasgow. They also make scrunchies, reusable makeup wipes and other accessories, such as embroidered pride flag inspired pansy brooches

Remember, they hate trans joy, they hate gay joy, they hate Black joy, they hate Native joy, etc. they hate when we can laugh and love and live our lives in our own skin. They hate that we can find our way without their rigid rules. To find joy and thrive is a great act of resistance too.

To all trans and queer people reading this and our cis allies,

We are under a steady psychological assault. They spend millions through PR firms to find the exact words that will wound us, to find the best way to divide us and make us turn on each other. But every day you wake up, their money is wasted. Every time you laugh at a meme, their work fails. Every time you pick up a hobby, even when it feels harder than before, you are winning.

And if all you can do is survive, if all you can manage is to stay alive through the day, you are defeating them by refusing to disappear.

Perhaps you read through this and don't recognize yourself. Perhaps all you feel is rage and the need to move forward. If so, good. We need you. Keep advancing.

We are not only survivors. We are the stubborn, joyful and proud light they cannot snuff out. Hate is unnatural; it burns through everything and eventually devours even those who feed it. Fire without fuel always dies. We will always have each other.

Show up when you can. Rest when you need to. Fight when you are able. When one of us falters, the rest of us hold steady.

Stay with us. Stay alive. We will make it through.

Weapons for survival:

• Rest is resistance. Sleep, warmth, food, laughter and little joys are fuel. Use them without guilt, they are what lift us up.

• Small acts are victories. When you reach for joy, when you answer a friend, when you refuse to stop breathing, you are cutting holes in their machinery of despair.

• You do not have to be "productive" to be valuable. Staying alive and present is itself a revolutionary act.

• Reach out. If you can, check in on one person today. If you can, offer water, food, a ride or a quiet place. If you are the one in crisis, say so. This is not the time to be a lone hero. Let people help. They deserve to take that role in your life.

• If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services or your local crisis line now.
