There's a nor'easter blowing here today so instead of flowers or mushrooms I'm posting this weird little head I sculpted.

A greyish whitish sculpture made from air dry Crayola clay of a weird little head. The head has bulbous eyes and big nostrils and an under bite. Kinda looks like a sleestack without a crest. It's resting on top of a terrarium with some house plants in the background. It's not fully dry yet.

A white shaggy mushroom sprouts from sandy soil with wood chips around it. One side catches a bit of dappled sun and a wide deeply veined leaf behind the mushroom catches another bit of sun to become illuminated bright green.

Sometimes hurricane season will wash most of the beach away and that slows me down, but I'll still stop by my favorite beach all winter long. Snow on the beach is especially magical to see.
