I think a lot of people are upset that their escapism doesnt let them escape anymore.

I dont want TMNT mtg any more than you do. But I do want more mtg.

If you want arts/games/culture that isnt tied to IPs, maybe go somewhere other than a multibillion dollar toy company.

I think I get annoyed at people who constantly talk about the profit motive ruining their favorite game because DUH. Its ruining everything. Its ruining healthcare and food and water and the free spread of information and its killing the planet and Magic the Gathering isnt even in the top 100 things

I can tell the Spiderman set is performing like ass because I bought every card I needed for Chaos. Like real cards on release were so cheap I just got them all. Was like 40 bucks total.
