I love 2nd hand SO FUCKING MUCH, though. Ppl sell perfectly good leather bags for like $20, & for $10, shit that appeals to my love of post-apocalyptic aesthetics a lot. Reuse! Truly, I’m a shade of the Junkmother. And shldve been an artisan ;)

I’m only just realizing that my recent obsession with trawling distressed (by real life) leather bags on vinted, which slid into same but for leather shoes, is probably just a resurgence of my love for the *material*. Means iinm that I need to resume Making Stuff soon, even if not of leather.

I played MtG commander with an angel-themed deck (against 2 players) with various life-giving mechanisms: ended up with 91 HP in the first game, the highest I’ve ever reached. I was very impressed and it was loads of fun :)

V stressed bc despite € not coming in I had to buy lots of delayed shit in the past 2 weeks (I was waiting for sales!), + cat stuff, AND 3 services I pay annually (Backblaze, 1pwd, etc.) renew now-ish. Anxiety & guilt way UP (do I rly need new knickers? a bra that fits? skincare?)

it's out of the editor's hands (it's accounting lagging now), but since she admitted she FORGOT to trigger accounting for the payment (FOR MONTHS) *and* she dodged answering when I asked them to pay late fees, I think she deserved to hear it, at least.

I wish it changed anything, but it won't. Editor admitted in email that she totally forgot to trigger the payment w. accounting, but otoh accounting now KNOWS & 10 days later, still nothing (+she told me they have cashflow issues that shld be fixed mid nov. so... what now?)
