In fairness I did tell Mr KJC to make me a celebration drink...

It's a Corpse Reviver Number Blue, apparently, ie a No 2 with curacao.

What has two thumbs, just finished the first draft of a novel in six working weeks, and needs a big drink?

OK Booksky let's have a metadata competition. I've just seen a book subtitled "A charming, must-read 2025 cosy fantasy romance debut with grumpy/sunshine vibes, small-town magic, and heartwarming second chances".

I make it 18 words (hyphenates count as 1) with nine adjectives. Beat that.

I read Welcome to Night Vale (Welcome to Night Vale, #1) by Joseph Fink, Jeffrey Cranor
K.J. Charles's review of Welcome to Night Vale (Welcome to Night Vale, #1)
I mean, if you like the Night Vale podcast vein of what I can only call cosy cosmic horror, you'll like this. If you don't, you won't. If you've never listened to it, I wouldn't start with the book. ...

Third in the series about unwilling medium Claire, in her 30s, perma-haunted by the ghost of a murdered schoolfriend who is an eternal stroppy teenager, and attempting to solve murders as you do. The ...

Bids welcome for advertising in my WIP!

--Set in 1916 so your brand must be over 110 years old, for accuracy
--It's an occult romance, so you should be looking to appeal to the 'depraved perv' market segment
--The MCs are horrible: perfect ad space if your product is toxic or deeply misguided!

I am extremely confused as to why the UK government and police are saying Grok’s mass-scale CSAM generation is an issue for Ofcom.

This isn’t about X failing to moderate CSAM, which is an Online Safety Act issue. It is about the company and its technology being actively involved in its generation.

Did a medicine ball slam in the gym with a 6kg ball, expecting it to hit the floor with a thud. Damn thing bounced on the rubber flooring, shot up, and smashed me right in the face. Seven stitches, still have a whacking jagged scar on my lip a year later.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.
