It's very straightforward reporting with no spin. Anyway, this is just a tip for anyone whose news diet is primarily screen-based and comes attached to comments, commentary, quote tweets etc.

I've started listening to local NPR stations to get news (about the US but also world events etc) and I gotta say its much more manageable and doesn't send me into a frenzy half as much as whatever I was doing before.

A small fire at the front of the bookshop was started last night after rubbish bags that were awaiting collection were set on fire. The guards don’t have reason at this time to believe it was a targeted attack. Thankfully the damage was limited and everyone is safe. We are open for business as usual

My process:

Four panels showing a scene from the Simpsons. In the first, Homer holds up a box for a "Barbeque Pit Kit", an outdoor BBQ with bricks, a lid etc. It looks lovely. In the second panel the box is removed to reveal Homer's attempt at building this pit kit in his back yard: all of the components of the kit (grill, bricks, various metal bars etc) are in a pile, rammed into some wet concrete. It looks terrible. In the third panel Homer is standing behind his creation, screaming and holding his head in horror. In the fourth panel, he takes a crowbar to the pile in anger.
