Last year's topic was "did the dog shit on the floor?". This year it's "yup, the dog shit on the floor, there it is".

My advice? Focus on learning to love dogshit.
The uncomfortable topic in Big Tech last year was whether AI actually makes people more productive and will it cause layoffs?

This year it’s moved on to since AI makes people more productive, how will it change people’s jobs and will it cause layoffs?

My advice remains focus on getting good at AI.

"I'm just waiting for my enemies to grow old and die" is the weakest most dog shit liberal shibboleth we have. Man up - invent a new disease you can give them, buy a dart gun, channel your orogenetic power to bring the orphaned moon down on their heads, appeasing the angry vengeful Earth.

As a gurlston fan, when the blutarch of the clorvis brigade blezzed the scram, I felt a real sense of joy and pride in our trezzlers.

Getting updates on the state of the football game on this site is like getting updates on the US/afghan war from charlie hebdo.

Bought my first car after living in a camper van for 4 years. Not having a toilet in my car is going to be an adjustment. Really have to start planning ahead.

Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"No, the monsters aren't supposed to look like that." or "The ground is fighting with itself again"
“can you please file a ticket”
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"Sadly, not aliens."

I don't like the super bowl and I don't like bad bunny but I am overjoyed that bad bunny is playing at the super bowl.

#Melania was okay I guess but the 20 minute scene of her sitting in a chair while children take turns lining up and having her disassemble their favorite toys and then spit on them really dragged on.

Finally watched Andor and I do not understand the hype. It was just boring. I think star wars fans are so starved for even the most basically competent writing and a humanized, lived-in version of it's bloated fan-service universe, a drop of either turns it into Shakespeare.

If Hillary had just changed it to AfghanHERstan, the wars would've ended and we'd have had the neoliberal gray space just ok world we've all been dreaming of.

Demanding Trump apologize for something horrible he said is like demanding a toddler explain why they rubbed their shitty diaper on the wall - you are pretending a reasonable interaction is possible when it is not.

I've lived in a van for 3+ years and am wondering how to get my wiki bio to describe me as an Adventurer while also acknowledging that I can't handle "hot or cold" temperatures.

Relationships are about love, commitment and partnership. Marriage is a financial and healthcare advantaged business arrangement. Glad to see an entire generation finally getting that.

Carb loading for a race is nuts because it's the literal opposite of what you're about to do. I'm cozied up on the couch eating bagels and drinking full fat Gatorade, ever mindful that in a few hours I'll be scampering about in tiny shorts in 30° weather, struggling to find the energy to keep moving

This dude was so fucking funny, one of the reasons I stayed on Twitter as long as I did.
Very sad to say it seems Mike Fossey, aka Mike F. has died. Truly one of the funniest posters of all time and a talented artisan. Had been friends online for many years, but I got to hang out a couple times at shows in Boston and he was funny and sweet in real life too.
