Eight people are on hunger strike, several apparently at imminent risk of dying, because our law punishes more harshly those opposing genocide than those supporting it. (And under a so-called Labour Government.)

How on earth did we get here? www.vashtimedia.com/hunger-strik...
The hunger strikers are in mortal danger. But the conditions they’re being kept in are already critical.
How the government and its prisons ignore strikers' basic rights and demands.

The National Grid (which is Australian) is making £1.5bn a year profit from you and increasing by 12% per year.

£55 of your Energy Bill goes straight to them in profit.

Aren't we lucky it was privatised?

You can’t “balance the books” by burning the foundations.

That’s how you hollow out a nation.

Reform are exploiting women’s safety as a cover to attack Black and Brown migrants

Labour exploits the same issue to attack Trans+ people

Both are using a cynical populist tactic: weaponise fear, scapegoat vulnerable groups, and dodge accountability for (their) failures
Reform have been exploiting women’s safety to attack migrants, so we’ve come to Downing Street to take a stand.

This government could have taken on the super-rich to tackle inequality.

They chose to fan the flames of racism and embolden the far-right instead.

Our country needs a change in direction, now.

It’s time for a real alternative that redistributes wealth, ownership and power.

Vile, just like painting Star of David on Jewish owned houses in 1930s Germany. Yet Starmer is too busy arresting Palestine action pensioners to round up actual Facist terrorists.
Today people went around my neighborhood in north east London spray painting St George’s crosses onto people’s homes. Many of these houses have non British people living in them.

This is getting very dark, very quick.

Centrism isn't an obstacle to fascism or a bulwark against it. It's a welcome mat.

There's no point telling people "It's Starmer or Farage" when the dynamic at work here is plainly Starmer *and* Farage.

"Labour or Reform" makes as much sense at this point as "Vichy or the Third Reich".
“I don’t want asylum seekers to live on my street” is genuinely a wild thing to say as a notionally progressive politician
Oh nothing, just the actual Prime Minister telling people they’re entirely correct to drive asylum seekers out of their communities

No refugee underfunded a school.

No refugee closed a hospital.

No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled.

We need solutions not scapegoats. Stop blaming refugees and tax the rich instead!

He's terrible on every level. Worse than I ever imagined possible.
Good God, Starmer's at it again.

We're seeing people attacked and racially abused in the streets, businesses being vandalised and graffitied, and all he can think to do is keep beating the "!!! FEAR IMMIGRANTS !!!" drum louder and louder and louder.

He is the enemy now as much as the Tories were.
