Given the 💩 we’ve endured during the first couple of months of this season that was a definite improvement! ⚒️

Fantastic night at the Mildmay Club yesterday!
Congratulations to everyone who helped put this great event together - bringing to life the moving stories of club members serving on the Western Front while tracking down the enigma that was club secretary Ralph Manley!

Unfortunately I can’t take part this year but took people out on this in 2024 and it was good fun so get yourself along there!

Snap fella! Got back last week from a fortnight in Bol, on the Croatian island of Brac!
As you say, such a nice part of the world.
And that crystal clear, calm sea… even I can stay afloat in that!
Hope you enjoyed a few Karlovacko’s mate! 🍻

A fantastic film!
Watched it the other year on the big screen at the BFI Southbank 👌

Unless we get some dynamism, some pace & power into our midfield this could be a rough old season… ⚒️

I’ve found a lot of interesting stuff in this series of podcasts about that period…

Was able to trace where my Nan lived as a young woman on there, helping her mum with the laundry business that was run out of the side of their home. We tracked it down via the address on a letter she’d written to our grandad who was recovering after being gassed & wounded during WW1.

Back then my boy was playing at one of Luton Town’s development centres, so I always had the sounds on making the journey up.
A few CD’s were on repeat in the motor and ‘Favourite Worry’ was one of them 👌

Couldn’t agree more mate.
A few years back (just checked: 2016!!! WTF 😳) I was at the Union Chapel when they recorded their live album! 👌
