Tina Peters should not be in a cage. Nobody deserves the hell she’s enduring, not even racist old white ladies. Her sentence was excessive, ineffective, and absurd, as is the partisan carcerality that prioritizes politics & profit over safety & human decency. Good luck Tina.

when I was in law school everyone knew that joining the federalist society was like getting tsa precheck for a clerkship
I’m a law prof & a YLS grad and anyone familiar w elite law schools knows it is beyond laughable to describe these places as radicalism hotbeds. Cruz knows this, as does JD Vance. But they assume that their marks are too unsophisticated to know it too. It’s condescending as hell.
Ah yes. Harvard Law School in the early 1990s, well known for its Communist professors.

Corruption right in front of your eyes:

1) Bennet says he wants universal healthcare.

2) DaVita drops $50K into his Super PAC.

3) Suddenly Bennet claims he “can’t do anything” on healthcare as Governor.

This is what bought-and-paid-for politics looks like.

we should not be spending public money to finance the hobbies of billionaires and we should not let them hold us hostage on the false promise that a sports stadium will "revitalize" an area of denver that is already great. good luck with your stadium in centennial. denverite.com/2025/11/17/d...

Phil Weiser has done more for working-class Coloradans in a day than Michael Bennet has in 16 years in the Senate.

This primary should be an easy win for Phil if not for Bennet’s Billionaire backers like Bloomberg and the AI Venture Firms trying to buy the gov's mansion

everyone, except legislators who are actually fighting for their communities like @javiermabrey.bsky.social (my legislator).
The biggest winners from this Democratic corruption scandal should be the Colorado GOP but they’re dead silent.

Why? Because the same dark-money donors bankrolling One Main Street and the Opportunity Caucus also fund Republicans. Everyone’s bought. #copolitics

it's not surprising that the denver police department trotted out the exact same bullshit claims during the george floyd protests that the trump administration makes here. that's because cops are inherently fascist, whether local or federal. we must not forget that.
Ellis notes that the feds argue "plaintiffs have not been engaged in First Amendment protected activity" because they've "intermingled themselves with rioters."

"But as I've previously stated," Ellis says, "I don't find defendants' version of events credible."

mike johnston really loves lying.
Denver's mayor told @citycastdenver.bsky.social that a police captain was shot by an "anti-migrant activist" who intended "to shoot up" a migrant shelter. One problem: A police investigation found no evidence to support that claim.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston is advocating for Flock surveillance cameras, sometimes using false or misleading claims. His claim that Flock cameras solved a missing woman's murder is not true. Her mother tells our @spencersoicher.bsky.social she is "shocked and appalled" by the Mayor's claim.

this is the future mike johnston wants. mainly to ensure that his pockets are lined by his tech bro donors when he runs for higher office. it's honestly despicable.
