If this goes ahead, it's yet another way of excluding people and decreasing their agency. My late Mum wouldn't have had the ways or means to use an app, but was able to write an envelope and use a stamp. Why is "accessibility" a buzzword that's rarely put into actual practice? 🤨

I don’t get this. Surely all Royal Mail has to do is send recipient a text saying they have a letter which they can pick up from the sender’s address? bit.ly/4nLsex1 Sorted. Or rather not sorted because it is too expensive.
