A new logo for the Pixar film Gatto has been unveiled. I am super curious and excited to see what this film has in store next year knowing it's Enrico Casarosa's follow-up film to Luca and hearing that Pixar is experimenting with its animation. I cannot wait!

Illumination and Nintendo have announced there will be a Nintendo Direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie this Sunday and revealed a new still from the film. I'm really curious what else they'll reveal about this film.

With a new year here, I decided to start making video reviews of the foreign/indie animated films I liked for my channel. To kick things off, I'm starting with a new take on the Edge of Tomorrow story. Anyway, here's my review of All You Need Is Kill.
The Academy Award nominations have been announced this morning. The nominees in the Best Animated Feature category are Arco, Elio, KPop Demon Hunters, Little Amelie or the Character of Rain, and Zootopia 2. Honestly, a really stellar lineup of films that I'm happy with!

I managed to snag some tickets to an early screening of Goat in two weeks! It's been awhile since I got to attend an early screening of animated film, but I'm really excited to do it for Sony Pictures Animation's next film. Eager to see how this turns out!

Laika has announced the release date of their next film Wildwood. The film will be released on October 23rd and will be distributed by Fathom Events. I never would've expected Laika to fully go independent with this release but I'm eager to see this nevertheless!

I'm back with my first new animated film review of the year in which Owen Wilson voices a dog who gets superpowers after being abducted by aliens. Yep, this is a real film. And I saw it. Anyway, here's my review of Charlie the Wonderdog.
I just saw that Roger Allers passed away at the age of 76 and I'm devastated. Roger was one of the most important people behind the Disney Renaissance at Disney Animation which included storyboarding a lot of films and co-directing The Lion King. What an incredible legacy.

Zootopia 2 has now surpassed Inside Out 2 at the box office and has become the highest-grossing American animated film of all time, only being behind Ne Zha 2. I had a feeling this was gonna be a big film, but even I'm amazed how quickly it broke the record in a short time.

I just got out of seeing All You Need Is Kill and I really had fun with this. It’s a cool new take on the same story that inspired Edge of Tomorrow filled with fantastic action, bombastic animation, and sweet moments with its characters be sure to check this out!

Warner Bros has officially confirmed that a Speedy Gonzales animated film is officially in development and Jorge R. Gutiérrez will be directing! Already, this is a perfect match and I'm really eager to see what he does with this! Cannot wait!

I really do not understand why Paramount purchased the rights to Garfield all those years ago if they're not doing anything with him. I mean, they canceled a show and the movie wasn't done by them. All it's added up to is money flushed down the toilet.
According to Bob Camp, Paramount Skydance reportedly shut down operations of a Garfield show produced by Nickelodeon.

I really do not understand why Paramount purchased the rights to Garfield all those years ago if they're not doing anything with him. I mean, they canceled a show and the movie wasn't done by them. All it's added up to is money flushed down the toilet.
I know there's been discussions over the years over whether DreamWorks should make Madagascar 4, but I personally think they gave the characters the perfect conclusion especially when you show the dialogue between the first and third films and see how they grew between films.

I don't know if I have a lot of thoughts on the Hotel Transylvania 5 tease, cause I'm a bit skeptical Sony is really making it. Actors can say stuff like this on red carpets all the time when nothing is being made at the moment. I'll wait and see if Sony officially confirms it.

Laika just unveiled a new look at Wildwood. It's crazy how it's been seven years since we last got to see a new film from them and I'm eager to see what they have in store with this. Also, curious who will distribute it for theaters too since we don't know yet.

Pixar just dropped a special look at Hoppers and if anything, I'm even more hyped for the film. This really does look like Pixar making a film even crazier than Turning Red and I'm so excited to see what Daniel Chong does with this in March. Cannot wait to see it!

Pixar just dropped a special look at Hoppers and if anything, I'm even more hyped for the film. This really does look like Pixar making a film even crazier than Turning Red and I'm so excited to see what Daniel Chong does with this in March. Cannot wait to see it!
Medusa is one of those Sony Pictures Animation films that always fascinates me knowing they tried to work on it twice in the last decade, and they never got it off the ground either time. A massive shame cause the art I've seen is great. Maybe one day, though.

I swear to God, it's amazing how much David Ellison and Paramount cannot take no for an answer. That man is such a spoiled and stupid brat. All I'm seeing out of him is Veruca Salt not being given what he wants by her dad. It's just embarrassing.

It's been announced that the US rights to Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom have been acquired by GKIDS who will give the film a theatrical release this fall! Hearing this news makes me so happy cause I missed seeing Aardman on the big screen and I can't wait to see it!

This honestly makes me happy to see. Film studios should not keep buying more movie studios and I still think both Netflix and Paramount would be horrible owners for Warner Bros and would do so much damage to the film industry. We do not need more mergers.

The entire climax from The Bad Guys 2 was probably one of the most insane things I've seen in an animated film in a long time. I'm still in awe at how the artists from DreamWorks went all out on it.

It's been nearly three years since it came out and the climax of Nimona still gets me every single time. Words cannot describe how much of a miracle it was that this film got released, how it is, and what it means to me. It's the film Blue Sky deserves to be remembered for.
