I remember reading once that John Hughes once told a film student that even though he didn't know everything about film, he could rely on other top notch crew members to help. Getting Paul Hirsch (who edited for De Palma and on Star Wars) really was a massive find that shaped the film perfectly.

Such a great movie. Always makes me laugh and always moves me. I miss John Hughes badly. I also miss John Candy badly too.

That 2011 remaster is way too bright. I get wanting to make Mary Blair's art pop, but they went overboard and made the colors way too much. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same team with Eric Goldberg on board, cause they did an incredible job. All WDAS classics need those 4K remasters.

When I was in film school, my screenwriting teacher told our class about a time they once worked for Brett Ratner and said he was the worst person they had ever worked for and told us some absolutely disgusting things he had done. This man should not be back in the film industry. I'm disgusted.

Oooh, a fellow Todd watcher? Nice. I've seen his reviews of his songs too. Knowing how they are.....oh dear.

Yep. And he's made songs like Freaky Friday and Earth. They're horrible.

A really bad comedy rapper who usually writes jokes about his small....ahem.....thingy. Trust me, you don't need to know.

All you need for proof Pixar is better off without him is just watch the films that Skydance has made. Nuff said.

I saw a really cute film from the director of Perks of Being a Wallflower called Nonnas. That one was cute, I’d think you’ll like it. Also, check out Little Amelie. That is a phenomenal animated film.

It's odd that Belle was the sibling of Snoopy who had the merch considering she had really only appeared about a handful of times. Of all of Snoopy's siblings, Spike is the one that showed up the most. You'd think he'd be the one with the merch.

Yeah, the stories I've heard are ugly. Like, exceptionally ugly. And between that and the films being terrible, I'm still convinced they're most likely not gonna survive this decade if they keep him there. Glad Pixar has firmly moved on from him at least.

The film coming out the day after the allegations came out felt like an act of karma from spirits. And it deserved to happen to a horrible human being like Lasseter. I'm glad Klubien is getting his due and Pixar is thriving without Lasseter. Hope Skydance can boot him out for good too.

I did hear reports that this news about the cast is fake. Also, knowing what I know about Ray Gunn.....ooof. It's a rough one. I still am upset that Brad Bird stayed with Lasseter unlike other Pixar people like Pete Docter and Andrew Stanton, who took the victims sides.
