Just spent the last 4 hours contemplating booting up Arc Raiders but hesitant as I don't like engaging in PvP when I play solo (I only actively do PvP in squads) and the climate has shifted towards needless PvP. Yesterday not 1 minute out of spawn and I got sniped, shot in the back...

Not once did they mention the most obvious piece of the puzzle.
2 of the default emotes you can never unbind are "DONT SHOOT" and "TEAM UP?".
Seems obvious to me thats sets a tone of cooperation and conditions players, some more than others, to become PvP averse 🤷♂️
